Mid-Century Modern Rattan Armchairs, France, 1950s, Set of 2

Vintage Mid-Century Modern design rattan/wicker armchair set of 2. Made in France during the 1950s. Features a steel-shaped base with a wicker/rattan woven shell seat. The armrests pass through the seats, adding to the beautiful design. The chairs are in fair original condition, with some breaks in the rattan, loose ends in some areas, and partial breakage at the front seat of one chair (see pictures). Despite these imperfections, the chairs remain firm and usable. Each chair measures 75 cm X 58.5 cm X 65 cm, with a seat height of 40 cm. These are sold as a set of 2 armchairs.
