Impressionist watercolour signed Raymond CHARMAISON - French School - PARIS - circa 1920

Hello. I am offering a watercolour in perfect condition signed by Raymond Charmaison (1876 - 1955), a listed and valued painter (see photo). This work, with a very beautiful harmony of summer colours, probably represents the Luxembourg Garden in Paris around 1920. The watercolour has been restored and cleaned, and a satin anti-UV varnish (Sennelier) has been applied. A wooden frame with a new double mount has been added. Frame dimensions: 46 cm x 36 cm. Artwork dimensions: 22 cm x 16 cm. Raymond Charmaison (1876 - 1955) is a member of the Société des Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Société des Arts Décoratifs. A recognised watercolourist, he specialised in landscapes and views of Paris from his time. He is also a decorative painter and illustrator.
