Exceptional vintage Czechoslovakian Mid-Century Modern wall-mounted coat rack by ULUV, dating to approximately 1970. This distinctive piece combines practical functionality with the restrained, architectural aesthetic characteristic of Central European furniture and home accessories from the Mid-Century period. The rack is crafted entirely from natural wood and features a particularly appealing linear construction. The upper section consists of a substantial horizontal rail supported by two upright side elements, with five slender horizontal wooden rods creating an open decorative backdrop. A central vertical support adds both visual rhythm and structural stability. The lower section incorporates five individually positioned wooden pegs, designed for hanging coats, hats, scarves, bags and other everyday accessories. The substantial lower shelf/rail provides additional space for smaller objects and gives the piece a strong horizontal silhouette. The warm honey-colored wood and visible natural grain give the rack an inviting vintage appearance. Its simple geometric form makes it especially suitable for Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, Czech, European vintage, retro or minimalist interiors.
