This Danish teak shelving unit is most likely a part of 1960s modular furniture PS System designed by Preben Sorensen and was manufactured at the same time. There are no remining stickers, but the brass hanging system and construction indicate this particular manufacturer. The overall size is H: 199 / W: 83 / D: 35 cm. This set is fully modular. Its simple form provides elegance as well as very practical display and storage space. All elements are 80 cm wide and can be arranged as needed. Hung, lower, higher, and interchanged. The sliding-door cabinet organizes space, while several open shelves provide ample space for books and decorative objects. Perfect for the living room, bedroom, lobby, or office. The unit consists of: - 4 shelves, 20 cm depth, - cabinet with sliding doors: H: 35 / W: 80 / D: 35 cm, - two wooden rails 199 cm long, - solid brass hardware. The wall unit has been checked and renovated by our team. We have ensured that the doors work smoothly and that all components fit together. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and finished with a few layers of satin lacquer to add protection and enhance the grain. Brass elements were gently cleaned but remain with their original delicate patina. Overall, in fantastic vintage condition with absolutely minor signs of use. We have over 200 Danish shelves from the mid-20th century. We offer them in various sets. If you are looking for other types of wood or a larger unit, please visit our website or let us know.
