Italian free standing shelving unit or room divider in teak, 1970s

This Italian vintage freestanding shelving unit comes from the 1970s. Designed as a modular and architectural storage solution, it reflects the functional elegance of Italian mid-century design and can perfectly serve as a room divider. Overall set size is H: 181 / W: 164 / D: 40 cm. The unit features eight different-sized shelves that allow you to expose your favorite books, sculptures, or decorative objects. The unit is supported by black-painted metal uprights resting on refined brass feet, creating a light and balanced appearance contrasting warm teak wood. This vintage wall unit is entirely modular, and one can raise or lower all the parts, as well as interchange them as needed. It can be a great mid-century addition to your living room or bedroom. This set consists of: - two shelves 35 cm depth, - six shelves 32 cm depth, - three black-painted metal uprights 181 cm long (brass feet can be adjusted by 2 cm). The wall unit has been fully renovated. The wood has been cleaned and finished with layers of satin lacquer, very reminiscent of the original one. Metal parts have been repainted. Brass parts have been polished. Overall in great renovated condition.
