Small living room cabinet in marquetry, Louis XV style – Mid 20th century

This small piece of furniture in rosewood, mahogany, and rosewood marquetry is charming with its curved body and delicately flowing lines, characteristic of the Louis XV style. Entirely decorated with floral marquetry in precious woods, it features a subtle play of contrasts and shades that highlights the finesse of its craftsmanship. The front, rhythmically designed with three drawers perfectly integrated into the curve of the piece, is adorned with finely chiselled gilt bronze fittings, including handles and corner drops, which add brilliance and nobility to the whole. The piece rests on graceful cabriole legs, extended with bronze sabot, giving it a light and elegant appearance. Topped with a veined and moulded black marble top, this bedside table harmoniously combines decorative refinement and functionality, offering a distinguished presence in any classic or contemporary interior.
