Lovely set of 6 dining chairs produced by Meubelatelier Vanda in Watervliet (Belgium) around 1965. The frames are made of solid oak which has gained a beautiful patina thanks to age and use. The design looks very Scandinavian and was clearly inspired by big Danish names such as Hans Wegner or Børge Mogensen. But they are made by a small company in Belgium which actually still exists today. The original black leatherette upholstery remains in excellent condition.
