Servant Limoges Ribes – Gilded porcelain 6 shells

Magnificent servant or vintage display in Limoges porcelain, marked Ribes France on the reverse. A very pretty model composed of 6 raised compartments in the shape of scallop shells, with a small central compartment. The scalloped edge is delicately enhanced with gilding. The central handle in gilded metal, probably brass, features an elegant rococo and leafy decoration. Beautiful antique patina with some traces of verdigris, which give it a lot of charm. Ideal for presenting oysters, seafood, appetizers, condiments, or simply as a beautiful decorative piece on a table. Overall good condition considering its age. Notable is a chip on the edge, clearly visible in the photos, as well as some signs of use and wear on the gilding. The porcelain remains very beautiful and the display retains all its character.
