Art Nouveau polylobed bowl in molded glass, shell shape, 1900-1910

This superb antique bowl is made of molded glass dating from 1900-1910. It features three shell-shaped compartments and a central handle for easy transport when serving. The handle is made of silvered spelter and echoes the undulating forms of Art Nouveau design. This shallow dish is perfect for presenting appetizers and hors d'oeuvres, cakes, or various salads. In good overall condition, I note some minor scratches from use and four chips, as well as visible mold marks and bubbles. This bowl is quite heavy and measures 27 cm x 18 cm high.
