Diana Safari lounge chair, designed by Karin Mobring for IKEA (Sweden, 1970s). This chair features a solid pine frame, a seat and backrest made of canvas, stretched by leather straps – a perfect example of relaxed Scandinavian design, favouring authentic materials. Its low and comfortable seat, reminiscent of a hammock, is ideal for relaxing in a reading nook, living room, or bedroom. The warmth of the pine and the sandy colour of the fabric allow it to easily blend into a Scandinavian, mid-century modern, or wabi-sabi inspired interior. Good vintage condition, with signs of wear related to age on the canvas and wooden structure: some marks and discolouration on the fabric, as well as slight wear on the wood, visible in the photos.
