Rare oyster plate in glazed stoneware signed ATCH, the monogram of ceramists Chantal and Thierry Robert, founders of the Les Grès du Loir workshop in Poncé-sur-le-Loir (Sarthe). This handcrafted piece features nine compartments arranged around a central reservoir. The glaze, in shades of pearl grey, chocolate brown, cream, and moss green, offers beautiful material effects achieved during high-temperature firing. The reverse bears the monogram engraved in relief, characteristic of the early productions of the workshop. Each piece of this pottery is unique due to the natural variations in the glaze. A piece as decorative as it is functional, ideal for enthusiasts of French ceramics from the 1970s, organic design, or the dining table. In very good condition.
