Set of 6 oyster plates Salins France – Brown & grey gradient

Six vintage oyster plates by Salins for a table full of character. A beautiful set of six antique oyster plates signed Salins France, recognisable by their simple and graphic design in shades of brown, taupe, and grey on a cream background. Each plate features six shell-shaped compartments arranged around a small central space, traditionally intended for lemon. The enamel work and smoky hues give the set a lot of depth and that unique charm of French tableware from the 60s-70s. The six plates are in very good overall vintage condition. On one of them, a small less-coloured area appears on a ridge; its appearance suggests more of a colour irregularity related to manufacturing than a chip, but it is noted and visible in the photos. A lovely service to enjoy the pleasure of large seafood gatherings, or simply to add a retro and graphic touch to a festive table. Diameter: 24 cm. Height: 2.5 cm. Total weight: 3, 204 g. Material: glazed earthenware. Colours: cream, brown, taupe, and grey in gradient. Manufacturer: Salins France. 6 oyster compartments + central space. Condition: very good overall vintage condition. Note: a small colour irregularity on a ridge, likely related to manufacturing.
