Large vintage brown caramel ceramic jug - Sarreguemines Model

Superb and authentic glazed ceramic jug from the prestigious Sarreguemines factory (France), dating from the mid-20th century. This piece stands out with a deep gradient hue ranging from warm brown to caramel and a rounded body featuring very characteristic raised geometric patterns. Both sculptural and functional, it will easily find its place on a shelf, as a single flower vase, or at the centre of a table for a bohemian and warm touch. Material: Ceramic / Glazed terracotta. Manufacturer: Sarreguemines (France) Model: Reference 6183 impressed under the base. Condition: Generally good vintage condition. The glaze has a superb shine. Note: a small discreet chip on the edge of the base (visible in the photos), which attests to its authenticity and history without detracting from its charm.
