L'Atelier K has found you this superb smoked glass carafe decorated with a seaside scene from the 1950s/60s. The decoration is made of polished gold varnish depicting a young woman water skiing by the sea, accompanied by a sailing boat and a boat with children, seagulls, and stylised waves. A dynamic and elegant scene, very representative of the aesthetics of leisure and holidays in the post-war era. Thick, high-quality glass with a meticulous finish and a complete narrative decoration, making it a piece that is both decorative and functional. I really love this object, very original due to its tall shape and surprising decoration! Very vintage. A rare piece. Second-hand in very good condition, with well-preserved gilding.
