Bring a touch of classic French charm to your interior with this elegant porcelain box from the famous Couleuvre factory (Allier). Dating from the Albert Laurent period (circa 1930-1940), this piece features superb relief work, highlighted by a hand-painted "Rouen Blue" decoration. It showcases floral motifs and typical scrolls of 18th-century faience, reinterpreted here on a fine white porcelain. The underside bears the authentic red stamp of the factory: the serpent (the couleuvre) intertwined with the initials "AL" for Albert Laurent, guaranteeing its origin and era. Versatile, it can serve as a powder pot on a dressing table, a sugar bowl on a festive table, or a jewellery box in a bedroom. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No cracks. Note slight signs of use on the blue reliefs that attest to its authenticity and age. Dimensions: Height 10.5 cm|Diameter 9.5 cm. Style: Classic / Shabby Chic / Art Deco.
