Ceramic pot by Roger Capron Vallauris "Flour pot" Roger Capron (1922-2006) was born in the Paris region and settled in Vallauris in 1946, where he created a ceramics workshop. He collaborated with Robert Picault and then Jean Derval. In 1952, he ventured into more industrial production, employing 7 workers to create items (vases, tableware, tables) intended for gift shops. In the 1950s, he mingled with Pablo Picasso, who supported him in his work.
