This is an authentic office chair from the famous French brand Stella, dating from the 1940s to 1950s. Founded in 1922 by Léon Ruisseau in Labruguière in the Tarn, the Stella factory became renowned for its sturdy beech furniture, easily recognisable by its industrial joints with large visible bolts and its historical motto: "Only what lasts is good." This specific model was primarily used to furnish administrations, schools, and offices of the time.
