A pair of Italian mid-20th century wooden nightstands are vintage Italian pieces from the, featuring clean lines and elegant tapered legs. It is made from walnut and mahogany veneer, with a wood application that creates the distinct diamond pattern on the front doors. The hardware consists of simple, circular brass knobs and ferrules/caps on the feet. The top is in light warm brown glass of the period. Each cabinet features two hinged doors with the decorative veneer work, opening to reveal interior storage. There are wood inlay decoration on the tapered legs and front angles. There are some minimal defects on one glass top (seen on photos). Very great original vintage condition, despite of some scratches/minimal defects, consistent with age and use. Measurement: Width 57cm X depth 35cm X height 65.5cm. Period 1950s. Made in Italy.
