This watercolor on paper represents the port of vannes in the gulf of morbihan, it was made by a. Mahuas. Painter and watercolorist (1877-1959), originally from lorraine, he left his region and like many of his compatriots he emigrated to brittany and settled after the second world war in the region of vannes. Before the conflict, he exhibited extensively at the nancy salon. The work has its protective glass, it is colorful, beautifully treated and fresh.
