Coat and hat rack design – Unique piece by a blacksmith artisan

Artistic wrought iron tree, a unique piece custom-made by Yvan Diard, a blacksmith artisan in Isère. Entirely handcrafted, it is designed as a functional work: not only does it serve as a coat or hat rack, but it is also a decorative sculpture. Its organic design evokes a tree, with sinuous branches ending in forged balls that serve as hooks. The manufacturing is artisanal: forged steel, solid tube, bent and welded by hand, with a raw patina that highlights the work of the metal and the traces of the artisan's hand. Dimensions: 2.20m in height x 1.20m in length x 1m in depth. Very stable. Today, a similar order from the artisan would cost around €2,000.
