Vintage brutalist bronze crucifix, religious art from the 1950s

Superb Brutalist bronze crucifix dating from the mid-20th century, adorned in its center with a domed rock crystal cabochon. Its organic texture and natural patina perfectly illustrate the Brutalist style, both spiritual and sculptural. The crucifix is signed “CH” on the back, evoking the tradition of German bronze casters such as Harjes or Horst Dalbeck.
