Ceramic bowl on foot from Manises, turquoise green glaze. Spain, first half of the 20th century. Bowl on a pedestal in earthenware from Manises (Spain), with a shiny turquoise glaze. The bowl takes the shape of a chalice with wide rounded lobes in relief, resting on a scalloped base and then on a flared foot with fluting. The modelling is generous and very sculptural, inspired by neoclassicism. Height: 19 cm. Diameter: 23 cm. Overall good condition. Some small chips to the glaze on the reliefs and inside the rim, fine visible cracks on the bowl and under the base, discreet hairline on one lobe. These marks testify to the age of the piece and do not affect its stability. Extremely rare.
