Gio Ponti Sun ceiling light produced by Arredoluce

Gio Ponti. Extremely rare ceiling or wall light, sunburst, Arredoluce production. This item came from the London Hotel in Milan and was created by Gio Ponti for its decor. The structure is made of circular, radiant brass and is finished in satin opal glass. Dimensions: Length: 133cm. Width: 39cm. Diameter at the base: 23cm. Height: 11cm. Condition report: I am posting a large number of photos so that everyone can see the condition of this piece in detail. This is a vintage piece, so it shows some signs of wear due to use and time. The brass has a beautiful patina, which is oxidized and contains surface scratches. The wiring needs to be reviewed as the original system is no longer in compliance. The opal glass is in perfect condition, with no cracks or chips, but it does show some rubbing where the screws hold it in place (which is completely normal). There are slight traces of rust on the screw threads due to its age. A rare and extremely elegant piece for discerning connoisseurs, collectors, or simply lovers of excellence.
