French terracotta bas-relief, Venus with Faun from the 20th century.

Elegant French terracotta from the first half of the 20th century. This excellent quality Art Nouveau bas-relief depicts Venus with a faun. It is framed in a modern gold frame covered in faux leather and adorned with small brass nails. The horizontal bas-relief is finely decorated with floral motifs typical of the period and style. Difficult-to-decipher initials (or a signature) are located in the lower right corner of the terracotta. This artwork, with harmonious dimensions and proportions, can be easily placed in different rooms of the house, hung on a sturdy rod. It weighs approximately 20 kg. With no signs of repair or restoration, it has a beautiful patina and is in good condition. Interior dimensions: H 31 X W 97 cm.
