His main distinctions: honorable mention at the Salon of the Academy of Fine Arts (1886); bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition (1900); officer of the National Order of the Legion of Honor (1910); President of the Society of Decorative Artists from 1905 to 1910. The Musée d'Orsay has several bronze, copper and gilded silver plaques by this artist.
