Ceramic bas-relief wall plaque

Figurative wall plaque in hand-painted ceramic, dating from the mid-last century. Enhance a wall or shelf with this elegant wall-hanging plaque in antique majolica. Made in France, around 1960, each ceramic artwork depicts an interior with a man and a woman dressed in traditional Renaissance attire. The two figures, with fabulous details, including the vase on the pedestal, the draperies, and the angle of the face, are all in high relief and embellished with a beautiful palette of hand-painted pastel colours, including shades of green, yellow, blue, and pink.
