Modernist brass and glass Ceiling Flushmount Light, Italy 1950s

Article: Large ceiling light with glass shade. Origin: Italy. Age: 1950s. Original 1950s modernist italian light made of solid brass and a large glass element in the middle covering the light source element. The nice formed glass shade has a diameter of 38cm and unique line pattern on the surface which creates a nice atmosphere of defused light. The light has three e27 light socket for bulbs. To the top the light a brass canopy with a nice tulip form which covers the ceiling fixation and hanging element. The origin of these light is italy, and remembers in the style and design of stilnovo and gio ponti... Very rare and highly collectible item, which is a nice addition to every modern home. Dimension: diameter 38cm. Depth 28cm. Condition: Good vintage condition, some normal traces of use, full working (newly wired). Due to the age the original metal plate and wall fixation do have a patina, some little fleebites and scratches on the glass element.
