Beneath an apparent simplicity, this lamp by the renowned Swedish lighting designer Lars Bessfelt is actually full of subtleties; it is presented here in its rarest and most beautiful version: a hockey stick-shaped stem made of stained beech and a brass metal structure. This stem is offset from the centre of the base, and a slot with a tightening screw allows for the adjustment of the lighting height, while the lampshade is supported by a perspex plate that diffuses a softened light from below.
