Vintage armchair with teak armrests by Avanti, 1960s, reupholstered

Vintage Avanti armchair from the 1960s with teak armrests. The compact armchair has an elegant, open form and has been reupholstered with a brown mélange accent fabric by De Ploeg. The combination of teak, metal and the woven fabric gives the design a calm yet characterful appearance. This armchair was manufactured by Avanti Meubels in Culemborg in the 1960s. The frame combines metal with teak armrests and has been rebuilt with new webbing, foam and upholstery in a brown mélange fabric by De Ploeg. The chair is marked Avanti Meubel Culemborg. The dimensions are 63 × 72 × 76 cm (W×D×H) with a seat height of 40 cm. The condition of the armchair is very good, partly thanks to the new webbing, new foam and the recent reupholstery. There are light signs of use consistent with the age of the frame.
