Bust of the Ephebus of Marathon in patinated plaster on base

Bust of the ephebus of marathon in patinated plaster in imitation of ancient bronze on wooden base. Vintage reproduction made in greece after an antique bronze piece found in the aegean sea in marathon bay in 1925. The original is dated to 330 bc. Note. The painted eyes refer to the eyes of the original piece which were made of a white stone with an iris made of glass paste. This bust measures 42 cm, wooden base included. In a very good state of conservation with minimal traces of wear.
