Jérôme Massier Vase (1820-1909) Enameled decoration, produced before 1900. The letters AM stand for Alpes-Maritimes, so the vase was produced in his workshop in Golfe-Juan, by the hand of Jérôme Massier. Coming from a dynasty of ceramicists that dates back to before the French Revolution, the Massier clan played a key role in the revival of ceramics in Vallauris. Jérôme worked with his father Clément in Golfe-Juan and later created his workshop in Vallauris.
