Very beautiful swedish ceramic lamp from the 1960s. Designed by bruno karlsson (bk) for ego stengods ateljé in sweden. The lamp is made of ceramic with a brown/golden glaze. Very similar to a hare's fur glaze and it is so well made. About the artist: Alf brüno valentin karlsson was born on january 12, 1927 and received his education in denmark, where he passed his final exam with top marks at the danish ceramics association. He then returned home to sweden and made his living making ceramics. These lamps are now extremely rare and this one is in great condition with no chips, no cracks and no other defects or missing parts. It measures approx. 33 cm in height (40 cm including the socket) and the diameter at the bottom is 16 cm.
