Red picchio desk lamp by isao hosoe for luxo, 1980s

Italian desk lamp called “picchio” designed by isao hosoe (1942-2015) for luxo, italy in 1984. Isao hosoe is a japanese designer known for his minimalist elegant designs this lamp is a good example of that. This lamp is made of abs plastic a durable lightweight material widely used in modern design. The shade of this lamp is fully adjustable so you can direct the light where you need it. The lamp can hold an energy-saving pl bulb of 7, 9 or 11 w. The lamp is only suitable for 220/230/240v. The condition of this picchio lamp is still very good. Material: abs plastic. Dimensions: h X w X d = 42 X 38.5 X 9 cm. The maximum height of the lamp is 68 cm.
