Oak Illum Wikkelso Capella armchair by Niels Eilersen

A modern oak armchair designed by Illum Wikkelsø and produced by Niels Eilersen in Denmark in the 1950s. This armchair, model no. 4 Capella, is beautiful in its simplicity and craftsmanship, such as the wood joints at the armrests. The cushions have new foam and new dark blue felted wool upholstery, so you can enjoy it for many years to come. The elastic webbing has also been replaced. The wood is finished with a new layer of Danish oil. The armchair is fully restored and therefore in good vintage condition.
