Large stoneware pocket or dish 31 cm in diameter. Quite rare in this dimension. In blue tones ranging from sky blue to royal blue with a thick glaze. Produced by palshus (denmark) in the 1960s, founded by per and his wife annelise linnemann-schmidt. The couple created and produced objects in “chamotte” (local agile), often with embossed decorations (dishes, vases and lamps). The colors were the natural tones characteristic of scandinavia: blues, browns, greens and beiges. Many other talented ceramists also worked for palshus including jens h. Quistgaard and esben klint. The dish is signed under the base: palshus and apls for annelise per linnemann-schmidt, model e110. Very good condition, slight scratches in the glaze inside the bowl.
