Beautiful american thonet armchair. trade furniture, seat, industrial chair

Very beautiful swivel armchair from the legendary thonet brand, herald of bentwood furniture. It dates from the 40s/50s and is made of entirely curved beech (no straight lines at thonet!). In its superb original golden patina, it works perfectly (a tiny bit of play in the screw thread but without any impact) and is in excellent general condition. We admire the work of curvature of the wood both at the level of the base and the armrests and the general appearance of a piece of furniture that has not aged a day in more than 70 years in terms of its design. Sleek, bright and ultra practical, it is constantly modern. Perfect for our modern interiors. It is an identified model from thonet and there remains here a part of the very particular thonet label, stuck under the seat. We still read...net with the illuminations of the thonet labels. In short, an authentic piece. Some signs of wear here and there, scratches etc, but in excellent condition overall. L: 58.5 cm. D: 48 cm. The seat can go up to 62 cm!.
