French majolica art nouveau wall plate – Jugendstil, circa 1900

This beautiful French majolica wall plate dates from the Jugendstil / Art Nouveau period, around 1900. At its centre is an elegant female figure with flowing red hair, framed by the characteristic sweeping lines of Art Nouveau, in deep blue and green tones. On the reverse the plate is numbered 1386 and bears a signature and an impressed mark. A decorative piece for the wall or a display cabinet, in an Art Nouveau, classic or eclectic interior. Condition: good.
