Inwald - Rudolf Schrötter - Vase - Rosaline - Glass - Modern Bohemian Moulding. Czechia - Art Deco - 1930-1940. Art Deco pressed moulded glass vase Rosaline from the Modern Bohemian Mouldings series released in 1933, by the artist Rudolf Schrötter for the Inwald factory in Czechia. Rudolf Schrötter (1887, Germany) is the pioneer of pressed moulded glass in Czechoslovakia during the Art Deco period. He began working for Inwald in 1912. He contributed to the creation of functionalism in glass design. Thick coloured glass vase in light pink, moulded on a foot, with a decoration of a series of curved leaves on the basin. The effect of the astonishingly curved lines creates a sense of depth. In very good overall condition, see photos. Height 18.5 cm X 16 cm in diameter. Careful shipping.
