Bentwood and cane armchair

Vintage armchair in bentwood (varnished beech), seat and back in canework; designed by josef hoffman for thonet and produced in eastern countries (romania and czechoslovakia). Note: no stamp. Pretty modern style, clean lines, light seat that adapts to any type of interior. Good general condition. Please note, however: the wood is coming off slightly at the curvature of one of the two armrests (see zoomed photo); and two small defects in the canework of the seat. Dimensions: seat height 47cm, back height 87cm, seat width 45cm, total width including armrests 52cm, depth 40cm.
