Eames DSX Dining Chairs Herman Miller 1970s

Set of 4 DSX dining chairs designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller / Vitra. The chairs feature a fiberglass shell with orange fabric upholstery and a DSX-H frame. The design dates back to the 1950s, but since these chairs bear both the Vitra and Herman Miller labels, they can be dated to the late 1970s to early 1980s. During this transition period, when production shifted from Herman Miller to Vitra, some chairs were equipped with both labels, due to export to Europe or when combining American and European components.
