Mid Century dining chairs by Radomír Hofman, 1960´s, set of 6

An interesting model of mid century bentwood dining chairs. Designed by radomír hofman for ton bystřice pod hostýnem (thonet successor in czechoslovakia after world war 2).they were made in the former czechoslovakia in the 1960´s. The chairs are made of bent plywood, have beech wood structure and are upholstered with fabric. An interesting example of czechoslovak design after the huge success of the czechoslovak pavilion at expo 58 in brussels. The chairs are overall in very good vintage condition, the wood shows signs of age and using, the seats have a new fabric. Price is for the set of 6. Height: 81 cm. Width: 42 cm. Depth: 45 cm.
