Trojan pottery with geometric patterns from the 1950s

Hand decorated Trojan pottery and glasses with geometric patterns. The pottery illustrated here was made in Trojan a town in the southern Balkans of what is now Bulgaria. Each Trojan craftsman has his signature patterns. This particular service, a pitcher and six glasses, with its beautifully structured design, dates back to the 1950s.
