Elegant carved wooden salon from the late 19th to early 20th century, attributable to the Art Nouveau movement, featuring strong symbolist and neo-Gothic influences. The tripartite backrest is finely pierced and adorned with stylised motifs with sinuous lines, evoking a plant and fantastical decor characteristic of the 1900 aesthetic. The side supports, topped with winged forms, give the whole a rare architectural and theatrical presence. The structure rests on an openwork base rhythmically accented by arches and sculpted elements, highlighting the decorative search inherent to Art Nouveau. Frame in perfect condition - upholstery to be restored (padding and fabric). All possible restorations can be carried out by our workshops.
