Richly carved solid wood bench in Louis XVI style.

Elegant solid wood bench carved in louis XVI style. 19th century. Base decorated with carved spinning tops, tapered with flutes. Joined by a crossbar with stringers. Slightly inclined backrest, carved with a magnificent pediment representing a face. Its openwork uprights, carved in the shape of tapered spinning tops with flutes. Armrests upholstered in fabric ending with sculpted scrolls of acanthus leaves. This pretty bench is covered with an avocado green fabric in a beautiful general state of conservation. (no stains or snags) ribbon finish. Note the fabric on the underside of the bench needs to be changed or consolidated. Seat height: 41 cm. Perfect stability. Very beautiful decorative piece of furniture.
