Antique silver-plated metal baluster jug from the early 20th century, VMF

An elegant baluster jug with a pedestal, the shoulder with a palm frieze, with an ivory ring, the base embossed with gadroon, the pedestal highlighted with pearls. In silver-plated metal from the WMF brand. Height approximately 40 cm. Very good condition. Founded in 1853 in Germany by Daniel Straub and the Schweizer brothers, VMF was around 1900 the world's largest producer and exporter of metal products for households, mainly in the Jugendstil style. WMF employed more than 3,500 people at the time.
