3172 – christofle jug – art nouveau from the art nouveau period, this large christofle pear-shaped jug in silver-plated metal in good condition. Not dented, silvering in good condition with micro-scratches from normal use. Fretel decorated with flowers and handle of gordian knots with 2 temperature rings. Goldsmith's hallmarks with a scale and a bee between the plates, surmounted by 4 stars, 2 branches below and the letters cc, all in an oval in a rectangle used from 1844 to 1935, christofle in full and numbered 1311846.height 212mm X 208mm.
