Antique two-body oak dresser

This two-body dresser in solid oak from the late 19th century embodies the generosity of French country furniture, balancing bourgeois sobriety with rustic warmth. Materials: solid oak and original antique brass hardware. Features: this dresser consists of two sections. The upper part opens with two diamond-shaped glazed doors (known as "cathedral" glass) framed by a moulded cornice and flanked by turned columns. The lower section includes two drawers at the top and a cupboard with two panelled doors, resting on turned feet. The overall design presents a straight and balanced silhouette, characteristic of provincial dressers from the turn of the late 19th century.
