Painted Folk Art Bridal Cupboard

Beautiful bridal cupboard made of pine dating from 1847. This cupboard is beautifully designed and features extremely decorative painting including floral and marbled decorations. This copy is in good condition considering its age, although there are of course some light signs of use. The cupboard has a well-functioning lock with key and is equipped with shelves, a drawer and a rod on the inside. If desired, you can easily add shelves. In the past, it was customary to give bridal furniture like this as a gift to the couple at a wedding. This furniture was subsequently placed on the farm in a stately room that was only rarely used for high-ranking visitors or special occasions. A beautiful and decorative piece of history.
