1970s Model "2000" gas heater by Richard Wolthekker for Faber, Netherlands

An eye-catching gas heater, model 2000, designed by Richard Wolthekker and manufactured by Faber in the Netherlands in the 1970s. It is made of chrome plated and black metal. The large chrome ball that is the center of this award winning design gives it a real space age style. It will be a great complement to any interior from mid-century to contemporary! Only a limited production of these pieces has been made, making this a rare find. When connected to gas, it spreads a nice warmth throughout the room while adding a fantastic aesthetic at the same time! An iconic piece of Dutch design from the mid 20th century. The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
