Rare 'Egg' table by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, 1952

A rare and beautiful 'Egg' table designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952. This is a very early black lacquered version from the 1950s, coming from the first owner who bought it as a set with two rare 'Tongue' chairs and one 'Ant' chair, which are also available. The table is fully original and in very good condition, showing normal traces of use and patina. The old Fritz Hansen stamp is present. This is a collector's item. The Egg Table from 1952 was part of a table series designed by Arne Jacobsen to accompany the famous Ant chair. Like the Ant, the tables were designed as small, lightweight pieces that fit perfectly into modern homes and public spaces.
